Vail Resorts is hiring for a Winter Seasonal Snowmaker position in Pennsylvania. The role involves operating snowmaking equipment and transportation vehicles, ensuring quality checks, and leading a diverse team outdoors in alpine conditions.

Starting pay ranges from $23.00 to $27.05 per hour, with full-time hours available during the winter season. Applications run on a rolling basis until December 15th or until positions are filled, and housing is not provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• English fluency.
• Able to work outdoors in alpine environments.
• Flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate transportation vehicles per standard operating procedures.
• Understand and teach proper snowmaking quality checks.
• Supervise and motivate staff across skill levels; train and coach as needed.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and discipline as required.
• Operate snowmaking pumps, compressors, and snowmaking guns.
