Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring Snowmakers for the winter season 2026/27 at the Jack Frost and Big Boulder Ski Resort in Pennsylvania. Starting wage is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with full-time hours and a rolling seasonal process.

As part of a team across a mountain operation, you will operate snowmaking equipment and vehicles, perform basic maintenance, and help produce optimal skiing conditions for guests. The role requires English fluency and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic hand tool knowledge and skill.

Responsibilities

• Operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate all vehicles, including snowmobiles, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance.
• Work on the production of snow to create the best skiing surface for our guests.
• Other duties as assigned
