Job summary

Winter Park Resort seeks a Lead Snowmaker to oversee the snowmaking team and direct operations on mountain trails. You will perform pre-operation checks, manage shifts and ensure safety and quality of snow production while coordinating with supervisors and other crews.

The role requires 4+ years in snowmaking or related equipment operation, CDL is a plus, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a high-altitude resort setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years leading a workplace team desirable.
• 4+ years in snowmaking or related equipment operation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-operation checks and fueling of snowmaking systems.
• Manage shift instructions from Supervisor and lead crew.
• Train Snowmaker I–III and schedule staff.
• Maintain logs of equipment use and safety incidents.
• Ensure safe, efficient snowmaking operations in mountain conditions.
