Job summary

Vail Resorts is seeking Snowmakers for winter seasonal 2026/2027. Starting wage is $20.00/hr to $23.00/hr with full-time and part-time hours available. Must be 18+, have a valid driver's license, and fluency in English. Housing is available for eligible employees.

Responsibilities include operating snowmaking equipment and vehicles safely, performing basic maintenance, and helping produce the best skiing surface for guests in alpine conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic hand tool knowledge.
• Able to work extended hours outdoors in alpine environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate all vehicles, including snowmobiles, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance.
• Work on the production of snow to create the best skiing surface for our guests.
• Other duties as assigned
