Job summary

Aspen Skiing Company is seeking a Restaurant Caretaker & Snowcat Operator for the 2026-27 winter season. This full-time seasonal role involves housekeeping, on-mountain deliveries via snowcat, and operating snowcat equipment across on-mountain restaurants.

Housing is provided on site and the position reports to the General Manager– Market Restaurants. Candidates must meet all safety and licensing requirements for winter operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid, current, unrestricted driver's license required.
• At least 2 years of experience in a facility maintenance or landscaping position required.
• Prior experience driving a snowcat or similar equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete physical and mechanical walk-through of building and notify manager of issues.
• Winter duties including snow removal from decks and walkways; icicle removal; apply snowmelt as needed.
• Summer duties include landscaping, trash removal, cleaning, and replacing bulbs/carpets as needed.
• Assist facilities or engineering on maintenance projects.
• Load, drive, and maintain the Snowcat to deliver items to restaurants via snowcat.
