Job summary

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) seeks an Emergency Maintenance Equipment Operator to support snow removal operations across Platte and Clay Counties, including Nashua, Northmoor, Kearney, Skiles, and Platte City. This entry-level role is performed under direct supervision.

Wages begin at 26.00 hourly for the 1st Season, 27.11 for the 2nd/3rd Seasons, and 28.37 for the 4th Season. Overtime and night work may be required; applicants must pass a criminal background check and drug

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• CDL Class A or B with no air brake restrictions and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operates plow trucks to plow snow and spread ice control materials.
• Cleans and maintains vehicles, equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
