Job summary

The Sky House Bartender at Schweitzer in Idaho is a seasonal role within Alterra Mountain Company. You will prepare and serve beverages to guests, maintain a clean, well‑stocked bar, and provide excellent service while following recipes and bar procedures.

Typical shift is 8:00am–4:30pm with open availability on weekends and holidays. Compensation starts at $11.00 per hour plus tips; 21+ years old minimum; benefits may be available based on status.

Qualifications

• Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations.
• ID guests per Idaho liquor laws; monitor intoxication.
• Prepare and serve beverages following standard recipes; minimize waste.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization; ensure health/safety compliance.
• Restock bar inventory (kegs, liquor, mixers, garnishes).
• Handle cash and card transactions; operate POS; end-shift deposits.

Responsibilities

• Customer service, primary contact for guests; greet, take orders, recommend drinks.
• ID patrons according to Idaho state law; monitor intoxication; take action if needed.
• Prepare and serve beverages, garnish and measure accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area; manage glassware and tools.
• Restock kegs, liquor, mixers, and supplies as needed.
• Process payments; accurate deposits at shift end; operate POS.
