Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Seasonal Bartender for Schweitzer in Idaho. The Rowdy Grouse Crew serves drinks with a friendly, fast service style and supports bar and kitchen operations in a busy resort setting.

Schedule includes weekends and holidays. Must be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and maintain knowledge of the menu and resort. Tips are included with hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year bartending experience with demonstrated competence.
• English reading, writing and communication; plus basic math.
• ID guests per Idaho state liquor laws; monitor intoxication and act if needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take and prepare drink orders, and provide recommendations.
• ID guests in accordance with Idaho liquor laws.
• Create and produce outstanding food.
• Keep tables and outlet areas clean and pleasant.
• Assist in snow removal and rearranging spaces as needed.
• Maintain bar/kitchen cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist in deliveries and trash removal.
• Know the menu and the resort well.
• Handle cash and operate the POS system accurately.
