Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring seasonal staff for winter 2026/2027 in Colorado. Roles include Ski Patrol leadership positions, cooks, drivers, instructors, and more, with one of the highlighted roles being an Assistant Manager for Ski Patrol.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• Must have at least 5 years of patrol or similar experience.
• Current EMT or OEC certification based on resort requirements.
• Knowledge of patrol including medical, scheduling, weather, training, snowmobile, accident investigation, lift evacuation, and slope safety.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be proficient in English (speaking, writing, comprehension).
• Minimum age of 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Lead patrollers and coordinate daily patrol operations under senior leadership guidance.
• Provide coaching and feedback, enforce performance and behavioral standards.
• Complete hiring paperwork, training assistance, and scheduling of seasonal patrollers.
• Maintain updated patrol SOP documentation, manuals and training tools; support safety culture.
• Travel for training and support critical operations across the enterprise.
