Job summary

Bridger Bowl is seeking a seasonal Snowsports instructor in Bozeman, MT to teach ski lessons to all abilities and to help guests safely enjoy the mountain environment.

You will demonstrate techniques to children and adults, share PSIA-based methods, and document progress hours and attendance as directed. Strong customer service and the ability to communicate safety instructions are essential for success this season.

Qualifications

• The ability to ski from assigned stations to the base area while demonstrating maneuvers to students for up to 6 hours per day.
• Experience providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to communicate clear instructions and safety information to students.

Responsibilities

• Teach lessons in a positive, safe, fun, and professional manner.
• Demonstrate contemporary and appropriate skiing skills to children and adults.
• Convey knowledge of PSIA methodology and technology to students, understanding the general concepts of the Learning Connection to a depth applicable to teaching/ certification level.
• Provide area and community information to guests.
• Accurately maintain timely and legible documentation for teaching hours, attendance cards, progress cards, incident and risk management information and other documentation as directed by management.
• Attend required meetings and training seminars.
• Work collaboratively with fellow employees and independently with groups of students.
• Maintain a clean and orderly personal space in the locker room.
