Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 in the Ski & Ride School. Roles include instructors delivering high-quality lessons to guests of all ages in a mountain setting, with a focus on children and safe, engaging environments.

Starting wage is $20.00/hr for winter seasonal work. Employment includes full-time/part-time hours, on-site housing not provided, and opportunities for professional development. Applications close December 15th or when positions are filled.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Must be comfortable skiing on groomed blue terrain.
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Minimum age 16 years.
• Housing availability: No.

Responsibilities

• Teach child group lessons as assigned
• Work with a focus on children
• Deliver world-class guest service
• Create a safe and fun learning environment
• Support all needs of the snow sports school: scanning, running surface lifts, facilitating lunch, fitting equipment
• Provide guest feedback that inspires and creates lifelong skiers
• Other duties as assigned
