Job summary

Young Life is seeking a seasonal Site and Facilities Superintendent at Wilderness Ranch in Colorado. This role involves overseeing the Sites and Facilities Department and coordinating staff development, operations, and maintenance tasks for the camp. Ideal candidates should have experience in multiple trades, possess a positive attitude, and be willing to learn and grow. The position requires relocation to the basecamp from May to August and involves training summer staff and interns, along with supervising maintenance and project functions.

Qualifications

• Ability to relocate to remote Wilderness Ranch basecamp for May – August each year.
• Experience in electrical, plumbing, framing, waste water or HVAC is desired.
• Strong proficiency in 2-3 trades and ability to teach/lead other staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and train interns and summer staff on maintenance and facilities work.
• Maintain operating records as required by the site and facilities superintendent or camp manager.
• Demonstrate a desire to grow through engagement in the Individual Development Plan process.
