Job summary

Michaels is hiring at the Elizabethtown, KY store to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and keep the store well stocked and organized. As a team member you’ll manage a fast, friendly checkout, promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and participate in omni-channel processes like Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).

You will also support safety programs, follow SOPs, and model a positive, respectful attitude while assisting

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy boxes as required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for assisting customers.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC surveys and participate in omni-channel processes.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram maintenance.
