Job summary

Michaels in Hickory, NC is seeking a Store Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout. You will help unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain a well-merchandised store.

The role includes participating in truck unloads and planograms, supporting returns, and assisting with omnichannel processes like BOPIS and SFS. Evening/weekend work is possible with eligibility for company benefits.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to assist customers and resolve questions.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions
• Provide fast, friendly checkout and cash handling
• Enroll customers in the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards
• Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Maintain stock and store recovery to ensure in-stock and well-merchandised conditions
• Support shrink and safety programs and follow SOPs
• Interact professionally and be a role model for teammates
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
