Job summary

Olympia Hospitality's Lodge at Schroon Lake seeks a friendly Server for a seasonal role through mid-November. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver food and beverages with care in a welcoming dining room.

Responsibilities include assisting guests with menu choices, handling POS transactions, ensuring proper setup and cleanliness, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff. Prior server experience preferred; must be of legal age to serve alcohol. Competitive gratuity benefits.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Assist guests with menu selections and answer questions about ingredients and dietary needs.
• Take food and beverage orders and input into the POS system, communicating special requests to the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverages promptly with correct portions and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of tableware and dining area; replenish items as needed.
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide proactive assistance and refills.
• Coordinate timing with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
• Relay guest feedback to management for prompt resolution.
• Process payments securely and present bills at end of meal.
