Job summary

Eataly in California seeks a friendly Server to coordinate the dining room, greet guests, take orders, and work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

This seasonal position runs about three months through early January 2027 with potential for permanent employment. Pay is $18.70 per hour plus tips; benefits include PTO, 401(k) with match, free family meal, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu.
• Informs guests of specials, menu changes, answers questions regarding food, beverages and allergies.
• Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system.
• Communicates with hosts, table support, kitchen staff and bartenders to coordinate stations.
• Presents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guests.
• Assists table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverware.
• Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
