Job summary

Pendry Chicago is seeking a Server Attendant to deliver exceptional hospitality and support the servers during busy dining periods.

You will stock, reset, and maintain your service station, ensuring clean tables, beverages, and a memorable guest experience. The role requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; prior food and beverage experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Server's team’s needs; stock, clean, and flow of your section
• Set and reset tables before, during, and after service with clean silverware, glassware, napkins
• Pre-bussing and bussing of tables during service; assist servers as needed
• Clean spills, broken glassware/dishes immediately; use floor signs
• Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies; follow cleaning and safety standards
• Refill water, coffee, and other beverages throughout service
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned due to business needs

• Assist the Server's team’s needs; stock, clean, and handle the flow of your section
• Set and reset tables before, during, and after service periods with clean polished silverware, glassware, share plates, and napkins as necessary
• Pre-bussing and bussing of tables during service period; assisting servers with service steps where necessary
• Cleaning all spills, and broken glassware/dishes immediately, using floor signs when necessary
• Cleaning of all equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order while following all procedures and adhering to all cleaning and safety standards
• Refill water glasses, coffee cups, and other beverages as needed throughout the meal service.
• Deliver on guests’ expectations and have the desire to create WOW moments
• Perform additional duties as assigned that may be outside of the normal scope of duties, based on business needs

• Ability to stand and exercise mobility for extended periods of time during your scheduled shift
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and for extended periods during the shift
• Ability to push and pull food serving equipment and carts weighing up to 200 pounds on a semi - regular basis

The pay range for Server Attendant is $15.20 - 15.50 hourly. The pay scale is the base hourly range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Pendry reasonably expects to pay for the position.
