Job summary

DLV Hamptons Management LLC is seeking a hospitality team member for the Hamptons locations. The role involves greeting guests, presenting menu knowledge, and ensuring smooth service at peak times.

You will assist with food service, manage guest concerns professionally, and maintain cleanliness and accuracy across dining areas. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential for success in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods exceeding four hours.
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull, up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Background check will be performed at the employer's expense.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests and members promptly, and by name when possible.
• Demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including preparation and allergens.
• Assist with any member or guest issues in a professional manner.
• Run food, clear tables, and reset china, glassware, or silverware as needed.
• Support the team for efficient service and accurate orders in the POS system.
• Input all orders into the POS system accurately and ensure check accuracy during service.
• Prioritize communication with teammates and managers during service.
• Complete opening and closing procedures as instructed.

This role will be located at Discovery Land Company’s Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach, New York and The Hills Set in East Quogue, New York.

This role is available April 1, 2027 – October 31, 2027. H-2B visa sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet all guests and members promptly and politely, and by name whenever possible.
• Demonstrate knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including preparation and components of each dish and allergens.
• Assist with any member or guest issues and concerns in a professional, courteous, and prompt manner.
• Prepared to run food, clear tables, reset any China, glassware, or silverware as needed.
• Support the rest of the team for efficient service.
• Carefully input all orders into the point-of-sale system and ensure accuracy of check throughout service.
• Prioritize communication with all team members and managers during service.
• Complete all opening and closing procedures as instructed.
• Maintain an eye for detail, including checking all areas of the restaurant for garbage, dishes, and glassware.
• Assist with execution of departmental goals and objectives.
• Monitor inventory levels through regular inventory checks.
• Maintain all equipment and be sure it is handled properly.
• Adhere to all company policy and procedures.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs.
• Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length.
• Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Required to work indoors and outdoors.
• Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than four (4) hours.
• Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull.
• May be required to lift and carry items that are sometimes greater than 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer.

Benefits

• Pay Range: $26.44 - $29.00 USD per hour; based on experience

• Optional furnished housing is available to a worker who lives outside of a commutable distance through a separate company at a weekly housing rate of $125.00 (including Basic Utilities). If the worker chooses to live in optional housing, payment is made via electronic payment, no cash, directly to the landlord weekly or monthly.
