Job summary

Discovery Land Company is seeking a Food and Beverage Supervisor for Hamptons locations (Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach and The Hills in East Quogue, NY). The role supports F&B leadership, maintaining service quality, inventory, and guest satisfaction.

Role spans outdoor/indoor environments, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Visa sponsorship (H-2B) is available; housing options may be provided. Join a premier private club experience this season.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) months of front-of-house experience in high-volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs.
• Knowledgeable of wines and beverages.
• Extraordinary attention to detail, quality and service.
• Able to work in a team with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and long shifts.
• Must read/write/speak English.
• Work indoors and outdoors and stand/move for extended periods.
• May lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Background check will be performed at employer expense.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food and Beverage Director and Manager in restaurant and outlet operations.
• Assist members and guests with issues professionally and courteously.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and wine/beverage pairings.
• Ensure product quality control and daily procedural compliance.
• Monitor inventory for F&B outlets and manage par levels.
• Ensure opening/closing checklists are completed and recorded daily.
• Assist in basic duties like running food, clearing tables, and restocking.
• Possibly assist in light food prep and serving in golf course outlets.
• Maintain compliance with laws, policies, and safety standards.
• Act as central communication point when par levels are low.

This role will be located at Discovery Land Company’s Hamptons locations: Dune Deck Beach Club, set in Westhampton Beach, New York and The Hills set in East Quogue, New York.

Role is available April 1, 2027 – October 31, 2027. H-2B visa sponsorship is available.

Key Responsibilities

• The Food and Beverage Supervisor will support the Food and Beverage Director and Manager in effectively managing the restaurant and outlets through observance, teamwork, and ensuring floor presence, as well as attending and initiating department meetings as necessary.
• Assist with any member or guest issues and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of restaurant menu items and knowledge of food and beverage pairings.
• Ensure continual product quality control and daily maintenance of procedures.
• Maintain stock levels of various snacks, candies, and beverages at the restaurant, sales office, and golf areas.
• Ensure all cleaning schedules, temperature records, and opening/closing checklists are completed and recorded daily on Outlet Tracking Sheets for all F&B outlets on the property.
• Assist in basic duties like running food, clearing tables, reset any China glassware or silverware as needed.
• Additional duties may include simple food preparation and serving of golf course outlet menu items.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable federal and state laws and all company policies, and government safety, health, and security standards are always fulfilled.
• Monitor inventory levels through regular inventory checks for all F&B outlets.
• Act as central point of communication when par levels are low.
• Make sure outlet food and beverage deliveries are received, stocked, and inventoried.
• Maintain all equipment and be sure it is appropriately handled and maintained by all food and beverage staff.
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts greater than eight (8) hours in length.
• Required to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Required to work indoors and outdoors.
• Required to stand, walk, and move for a period of greater than eight (8) hours.
• Required to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push and pull.
• May be required to lift and carry items, sometimes over fifty (50) pounds.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Background check will be performed at the expense of the employer.

Benefits

• Pay Range: $25.49 - $31.00 USD per hour; based on experience
