Job summary

Addison Group in Orange, CA is seeking a Senior Auditor / Audit Supervisor for a seasonal, on-site engagement. The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, experience in public accounting, and ability to manage audits with junior staff.

You'll perform and supervise engagements, review statements, communicate findings to clients, and ensure deadlines during the busy season. A Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance is required, CPA preferred, and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience focused on audit.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Experience reviewing financial statements, footnotes and disclosures.
• CPA license or progress toward licensure preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, testing, and reporting.
• Review financial statements for GAAP compliance and disclosures.
• Prepare and review footnotes and disclosures.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
• Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines during busy season.
