Job summary

Colorado State Senate is seeking seasonal, full-time staff for the upcoming legislative session (Jan 11–May 10, 2027). The role involves working on the Senate floor, recording bill activity, and generating status sheets, reporting to the Secretary of the Senate and Managing Clerk.

Responsibilities

• Bill monitoring, recording physical bills, and electronic updates.
• Produce and verify daily status sheets for actions taken.
• Coordinate seamlessly with House staff on bill activity.
• Proof daily Journal and Calendar for accuracy and presentation.
• Provide legislators with printed documents and perform other duties as assigned.
