Job summary

Aerotek in Worthington, IN seeks a General Production Worker to support seasonal seed production—from receiving and processing crops to cleaning, packaging, warehousing and shipping. You will rotate through field and plant tasks, monitor equipment, and follow SOPs, maintaining safety and quality.

You may work independently or with a team, with safety and reliability as core values. The role offers onsite work with seasonal hours and potential for full-time employment after the contract period.

Qualifications

• Must read English labels and safety information.
• Able to stand for long shifts.
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Work both indoors and outdoors; walk on uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process trucks hauling crops from the field.
• Conduct harvest activities during fall (husk and sort).
• Operate crop dryers per safety and quality rules.
• Shell and store crop; document handling.
• Supply the conditioning dept with seed.
• Apply seed treatments per procedures and quality standards.
• Label, tag, bag, and palletize seed for storage/shipment.
