Job summary

DK Security is seeking construction security officers for seasonal shifts at Lakeshore locations in Michigan. The role involves maintaining safety and security, customer service, and reporting incidents on various contracts. Earn $17.60 per hour with first, second, and third shifts, including weekends.

This is not an armed security position; weapons are not permitted on site. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to pass drug screening, and the capacity to work 8–12 hour

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Military veterans and people with security, firefighting, department of corrections, or law enforcement experience encouraged to apply.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provide security and safety for client properties.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Maintain professional appearance and stand guard in lobbies, reception areas, and control centers.
• Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols as assigned.
• Control access and verify employee and vendor IDs.
