Job summary

DK Security, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer to protect client properties and ensure safety on site. You will perform patrols, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional, friendly demeanor.

The role emphasizes customer service, reliable presence, and adherence to client policies. Training is provided, with shifts on various days (2nd and 3rd). This is a non-armed position requiring compliance with all security protocols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• No felony convictions; no misdemeanors related to dishonesty or weapons.
• Able to sit, stand, and walk 8–12 hours; lift 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work).
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification or willingness to become certified.
• Fluent in English; strong customer service and professional demeanor.
• Able to use a smartphone/computer for training and communications.
• Compliance with federal rules regarding marijuana use for contract work.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer-friendly security presence at client sites.
• Observe and report suspicious activities and incidents.
• Control access and verify IDs to maintain restricted areas.
• Conduct patrols on foot and/or vehicle as assigned.
• Respond to emergencies and administer CPR/First Aid/AED when needed.
• Maintain professional communication with clients and site management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the client or supervisor.
