Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Seasonal Seafood Processor at our Motley, MN plant. Responsibilities include weighing, packing, operating production equipment, and maintaining cleanliness per SOPs.

Must have worked at Motley plant in the last 12 months and have basic HS diploma or equivalent. There is a comprehensive benefits package for full-time staff; seasonal staff receive prorated time-off and eligibility for certain benefits.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in food manufacturing.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Check materials and amounts to be weighed, measured or counted and place items into containers.
• Remove product from platforms/conveyors and pack into preformed pouches or boxes.
• Set up, operate and monitor machinery used in the production process, or assist machine operators.
• Record production data such as ingredients used, temperature, weights and times according to SOPs.
• Fill hoppers of automated system with correct ingredients using vacuum assist for lifting bags.
• Disassemble and reassemble the production line and equipment as necessary for cleaning.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools and work area per SSOP while wearing PPE.
• Complete required training programs and perform designated work activities according to policies.
