Job summary

Randy Peters Catering in Roseville, CA is seeking an experienced baker to support our Lead Baker in a high-volume, scratch bakery program within our catering kitchen. This seasonal, part-time role prepares and produces a variety of baked goods from scratch.

Ideal candidates bring bakery or commercial kitchen experience, detail orientation, and the ability to follow recipes and direction. Flexibility for early mornings, weekends, holidays, and overtime is required in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a bakery or commercial kitchen.
• Experience working in high-volume food production environments preferred.

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to maintain focus during busy production periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Baker with the preparation and production of a variety of scratch-made baked goods.
• Accurately follow recipes, production schedules, and preparation instructions.
• Measure, mix, shape, bake, and finish bakery items according to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bakery work environment.
• Assist with ingredient scaling, prep work, and production staging.
• Communicate effectively with the Lead Baker and kitchen team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Support kitchen operations during high-volume production periods.
• Assist with additional kitchen tasks as needed to support overall production.
