Job summary

PanCare of Florida is seeking a Health Technician for the School Health Team at Tyndall Academy, located on Tyndall Air Force Base, FL. This seasonal part-time role supports student health services across Bay County, including medication administration, first aid, and health screenings under licensed supervision.

The position requires a High School diploma, current BLS, and a Level 2 background check. Preference given to candidates with healthcare or school experience and familiarity with Google

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• Knowledge of basic medical procedures and health needs.
• Experience with maintaining health records and documentation.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Must complete Level 2 fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Follow school health policies for student safety and well-being.
• Provide medication administration and notify nurse/guardian as needed.
• Notify nurse, parent/guardian, and principal of acutely ill or injured students.
• Assist in managing communicable diseases and conditions.
• Complete head lice interventions and screen for readmission.
• Perform CPR/AED as needed.
• Document and report services in clinic per policy.
• Assist in health screenings: hearing, vision, scoliosis, BMI.
• Support delegated medical procedures after training by RN.
• Oversee inventory of first aid supplies and inform Health Room needs.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper paperwork handling.
