Job summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support licensed pharmacists at Tyndall Air Force Base, FL. You will ensure the safe, accurate dispensing of medications to eligible beneficiaries and assist in daily pharmacy operations in a DoD setting.

Required Active CPhT or ExCPT certification and 1–2 years of clinical/ hospital experience. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential, with adherence to HIPAA and DoD policies.

Qualifications

• Active CPhT (PTCB) or ExCPT (NHA) certification.
• 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a clinical, hospital, or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations, medications, and dispensing systems.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescription orders under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter and maintain prescription information in electronic medical records.
• Operate pharmacy systems and automated dispensing equipment.
• Manage medication inventory, storage, and expiration monitoring.
• Support daily outpatient pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and pharmacy procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
