Job summary

Music & Arts is seeking an on-site seasonal event assistant to support school instrument rental events across the area. You will help with setup, inventory prep, and quick rentals using mobile tools, while greeting families and guiding them through the process.

Responsibilities include loading gear, assisting at events, and coordinating with Education Account Managers. A HS diploma, MS Office, and a valid driver’s license are required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Valid state driver’s license and automotive insurance.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down rental events at schools (tables, signage, and event flow).
• Load, unload, and move instruments and supplies; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Prep inventory and paperwork before events (tagging, checklists, basic documentation).
• Greet parents and students, answer questions, and help families get started with the rental process.
• Use mobile/tablet tools to reserve inventory, complete rentals, and support order fulfillment during events.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with Education Account Managers, teammates, parents, students, and occasionally school staff.
• Travel to/from assigned prep location(s) and school event location(s) within the assigned marketplace.
• Prep work may occur at Music & Arts warehouses, storage facilities, and/or retail stores.
• Complete required training and support other tasks as assigned.
