Job summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Scale Operator to join our Lowder, IL team this fall. You will weigh and grade grain from inbound and outbound trucks and provide prompt customer service while maintaining safety standards.

Shifts run 7a-7p with weekend hours and overtime opportunities, and there is potential to join full-time after the season. No prior experience is required; CHS offers a competitive total rewards package and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in grain handling and terminal

Qualifications

• 0-6+ months of Operations, Business Operations and/or Customer Service.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work longer days, weekends, and/or holidays during peak seasons.

• Provide a high level of customer service by addressing customers in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
• Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Assist other personnel as needed.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
• Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
