Job summary

Five Below is seeking a part-time Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales during the holiday season. The role centers on greeting customers, understanding needs, and guiding purchases, while keeping merchandise organized and the floor well-stocked.

The position is temporary for October through January, with opportunities to learn technology at registers and handheld devices, and to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (cash registers, devices).
• Good communicator able to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• Ability to learn procedural knowledge via on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly; provide assistance and handle multiple customers.
• Understand and meet customer needs; share product knowledge and make recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns; offer alternatives and exchanges when possible.
• Communicate restocking and service needs to management in timely manner.
• Support team goals and maintain a positive work environment.
