Job summary

Five Below is seeking part-time Seasonal Sales Associates for our busy holiday season (October through January). You will deliver outstanding customer service, help drive sales, keep merchandise organized, and ensure the sales floor and registers stay efficient.

You will greet customers, share product knowledge, suggest items, promote events, and process transactions. You may handle returns as exchanges and relay needs to management.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with or willing to learn technology (such as computers, cash registers, hand-held and mobile devices).
• Good communicator with the ability to engage with customers.
• Able to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
• Use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
• On-the-job training provides guidance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers promptly: acknowledge customers and provide assistance.
• Understand and meet customer needs by sharing product knowledge and making recommendations.
• Promote store events and promotions to drive sales.
• Resolve customer concerns and offer exchanges when possible.
• Communicate needs to management regarding restocking and customer feedback.
• Collaborate with team to achieve store objectives.
