Job summary

Macy's is hiring a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague. You will blend friendly hospitality with proactive selling to meet goals, assist customers, and keep the sales floor welcoming. This role emphasizes teamwork, product knowledge, and a positive shopping experience.

Hours are typically 10–20 per week, with scheduling dependent on business needs and availability. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized store and support promotions and loyalty programs while delivering memorable service.

• Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to: understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
• Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
• Meeting daily sales goal challenges
• Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information
• Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; you can work on your own but are great with team dynamics
• You can handle electronic devices with no problem

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and engage to build relationships on the sales floor.
• Review sales goals and learn about new arrivals and top-selling items to stay informed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting sales space for customers.
• Assist with merchandising, price updates, and stock moves as needed.
• Promote Macy's loyalty program and ensure customers have what they need before leaving.
