Medical City Lewisville is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the Surgical Trauma Unit. This PRN, day-shift role supports patient care in a high-demand setting and operates within the hospital’s standards of practice.

You will assess, monitor, and document patient status, administer medications, and educate families about care plans. The program runs September 2026 through April 3, 2027, with no guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN license and meeting state requirements.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts, report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor responses, document nursing care accurately.
• Provide responsive, compassionate care and educate patients and families about conditions and treatment plans.
• Translate complex medical information for patients to ensure understanding.
