Job summary

Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District in California is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver professional nursing care using the nursing process on an assigned unit. The RN will coordinate patient care across the hospital and collaborate with the health care team to meet the total needs of patients.

California licensure to practice and BLS are required on hire; ACLS, NRP and PALS may be required by the department and must be completed before the 90‑day provisional period.

Qualifications

• Previous clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred; orientation to competence.
• Current California RN license.
• AHA BLS certification required on hire; ACLS, NRP and PALS as department needs; must be completed before the 90 day provisional period.
• Participates in patient education and directs/assists ancillary personnel.

Education, Knowledge, Experience & Skills

• Previous clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred; successful completion of orientation and training to the point of competence.

Licenses And Certifications

• Must have current licensure to practice registered nursing in the State of California.
• Current AHA BLS required upon hire. ACLS, NRP and PALS certification as required by Department. These certifications must be completed before the 90 day provisional period and must always be completed prior to being assigned to full patient level 3 care. Participates in patient education. Directs and assists in activities of ancillary personnel.
