Job summary

Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit using the nursing process. The role coordinates care throughout the hospital and collaborates with the health care team to meet patients' total needs.

The position requires California RN licensure and current BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required depending on department, with certifications to be completed before certain care levels. Prior clinical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current licensure to practice registered nursing in California.
• Current AHA BLS required upon hire; ACLS, NRP and PALS as required by department.

Education, Knowledge, Experience & Skills

• Previous clinical experience in a patient care setting preferred; successful completion of orientation and training to the point of competence.

Licenses And Certifications

• Must have current licensure to practice registered nursing in the State of California.
• Current AHA BLS required upon hire. ACLS, NRP and PALS certification as required by Department. These certifications must be completed before the 90 day provisional period and must always be completed prior to being assigned to full patient level 3 care. Participates in patient education. Directs and assists in activities of ancillary personnel.
