Job summary

San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to coordinate and provide nursing care on the DOU for adults and geriatrics. You will participate in patient and family teaching and lead by collaborating with the nursing team and ancillary staff to maintain high standards of practice.

The role requires graduation from nursing program, California RN license, BLS/ACLS, NIHSS, and recent acute care experience; 36-hour weeks, 68 USD/hour, temporary/seasonal onsite.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing with diploma, associate degree, or BSN.
• Current active license in the State of California.
• Recent health care experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Possesses and Maintains BLS, ACLS & NIHSS Stroke Scale certifications.
• Cardiac Arrhythmia class. Basic Computer Skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate/Provide nursing care for adults and geriatrics in the DOU.
• Assist in patient and family teaching and demonstrate leadership with the care team.
• Assess adult/senior patients for behavior, motor skills and psychologic norms; monitor safety and equipment.
