Job summary

Kindred Hospital Chattanooga is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care within a long-term acute care setting. The role involves nursing process planning, collaboration with physicians, and coordinated discharge planning.

Seasonal Staffing offers a 12-week commitment with per diem status and potential for extension. The position requires current RN licensure, BCLS, and ACLS preferred, with at least six months of Medical/Surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited BSN program.
• Graduation from an accredited ADN and/or nursing diploma program.

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing supervisor, and interdisciplinary staff; participates in discharge planning.
• Contributes to patient safety and quality of care; documents care plans and assessments.
• Assists with teaching and family involvement in the care plan; prepares end-of-shift reports.
