Job summary

Kindred Hospital Dayton and Behavioral Health Unit is seeking registered nurses for its Seasonal Staffing program. This temporary role requires a minimum commitment of 36 hours per week during a 12-week period, with per diem status and no benefits during the season.

The nurse will deliver direct and indirect patient care, develop care plans, administer medications, and participate in discharge planning. Possibility to extend or convert to longer-term roles based on needs.

Qualifications

• BSN/ADN or nursing diploma is required.
• Current state RN licensure is required.
• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum six months of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Develop and revise patient care plans with the team.
• Administer medications following five rights of med administration.
• Assist with examinations, treatments, and procedures as needed.
• Coordinate discharge planning and family education.
