Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Team Member to support store operations during peak periods. You may work across the sales floor, front end, stockroom, and receiving areas to keep the store organized and stocked while delivering a customer-focused shopping experience.

This seasonal/temporary role provides staffing support during busy periods; opportunities for regular part-time or full-time roles may arise as openings become available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Strong verbal, written, and comprehension skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established standards and processes.
• Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and ethical behavior in all interactions with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude, works with a sense of urgency, and executes assigned responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Contributes to a customer-focused environment while providing exceptional customer service.
• Works collaboratively with Team Members and leadership to achieve store goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Performs cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while delivering a positive shopping experience.
• Processes freight; sorts, stocks, and replenishes merchandise in designated areas in accordance with store merchandising guidelines.
• Performs store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned, both inside and outside the building.
• Completes assigned tasks and workload requirements efficiently and within established timeframes.
• Supports customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, shrink reduction, safety, and loss prevention initiatives to help ensure the store operates effectively and profitably.
• Performs all other duties as assigned based on business needs.
