Job summary

Macy's is seeking a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague to blend selling with genuine hospitality. You will understand customer needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with products and services on the sales floor or in fitting rooms.

You will help achieve selling goals through customer engagement, teamwork, and a positive, welcoming store environment. Hourly shifts are 10–20 hours per week and depend on business needs.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules in English.
• Daily sales goal challenges.
• Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
• Resourceful and eager to start a new venture and can adapt to changing priorities; works well with a team.
• Can handle electronic devices with no problem.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide personalized recommendations to connect them with products and services.
• Keep the sales floor, fitting rooms, and merchandise area clean, organized and inviting.
• Meet daily sales goals through customer engagement and smart selling behaviors.
• Assist with merchandising and price/sign updates and help with checkout and bagging.
