Job summary

Squishable.com, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Retail Sales Lead for Water Tower Place in Chicago. You will assist the Store Manager, drive holiday sales, and help create a welcoming experience for every Squishable fan.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in retail or leadership, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and are flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $17.05 per hour with employee discounts and potential seasonal-to-permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail, customer service, or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
• Passion for people and creating a fun, welcoming customer experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to stay positive and flexible during busy periods
• Team player who can motivate others, take initiative, and jump in wherever needed
• Comfortable receiving and providing feedback and helping keep the team focused on shared goals
• Must have flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to lift and move cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Supports the Store Manager in delivering a fun, welcoming, and efficient customer experience during the busy holiday season
• Helps lead the sales floor during peak periods, keeping the team focused on customer service and sales goals
• Drives holiday sales through customer engagement, product recommendations, and strong knowledge of Squishable products
• Supports seasonal promotions, merchandising, replenishment, and maintaining an organized, well-stocked sales floor
• Helps manage customer flow and resolves concerns with a positive, solution-oriented approach
• Provides day-to-day direction and support to team members and jumps in wherever needed during busy periods
• Supports opening, closing, and keyholder responsibilities, as assigned
