Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate in Fairfield, CT to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. You will greet customers, understand needs, explain features, and suggest items to build sales while maintaining store standards.

Role requires teamwork, professionalism, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will also assist with stocking, merchandising, and POS processing as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in specialty retail is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.
• Comfort with standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome every customer warmly and with enthusiasm.
• Understand customer needs by asking open-ended questions.
• Explain product features and benefits in relation to customers’ needs with in-depth knowledge.
• Suggest additional items using effective selling techniques.
• Thank the customer and invite them to return and shop with us again.
• Maintain store appearance and assist with merchandising following company guidelines.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure accuracy of customer information.
