Job summary

You will greet customers, operate a cash register, process payments, and assist with product questions while maintaining store standards and inventory accuracy. This role supports training and daily service processes, with flexibility across days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and ability to multi-task.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle different payment methods.
• Execute POS and customer service standards with courteous, fast, and efficient service.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandising disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service procedures and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (register balancing, change orders, replenishment).
• Maintain safety policies and follow directions from supervisors.
