Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a customer-focused associate to handle point of sale operations and customer service. You will greet customers, operate the register, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments while delivering a friendly, efficient experience.

Ideal candidates are flexible to work days, nights, weekends and holidays and can contribute to inventory accuracy and team training. No prior retail experience required, 16+ age is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards quickly and politely.
• Aim to meet or exceed individual goals (credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new service team members on POS procedures and Kohl’s standards.
• Participate in daily service processes like register balancing and replenishment.
