Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking associates to deliver exceptional customer service at the point of sale and in customer services processes. You will operate a cash register, greet customers, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments while maintaining speed and accuracy.

You will also support inventory, assist with training, and participate in daily service activities to ensure a smooth shopping experience. Must be 16+ and available days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and accept payments.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards accurately and efficiently, providing friendly service.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes, POS procedures and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes such as register/cash balancing, change orders, and replenishment.
