Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a team-oriented associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the point of sale and in customer service processes. You will operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle payments while maintaining speed and accuracy to ensure a compelling customer experience.

You will be expected to meet individual goals, support inventory accuracy, and assist in training new hires. A flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle different payment methods.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards accurately and efficiently per guidelines.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and POS procedures.
• Participate in daily service processes such as register balancing and replenishing supplies.
