Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a store associate to deliver exceptional customer service at the point of sale and in customer services processes. You will greet customers, operate registers, scan items, bag merchandise, and handle payments while delivering fast, friendly service.

You will also support inventory accuracy, participate in training for new hires, and engage in daily service processes. Flexible availability across days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills with ability to multi-task.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting and assisting with products and services; operate a cash register and process payments.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards accurately and efficiently.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and Kohl’s standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (registers, cash balancing, replenishment).
