Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver excellent service at the point of sale and in customer service processes. You will operate a cash register, greet customers, and provide a fast, friendly checkout experience while upholding Kohl’s brand standards.

The role supports inventory accuracy and daily service processes, with opportunities to assist in training new hires and participate in team operations. Flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, operate a cash register, scan items, bag merchandise and handle different payment methods.
• Accurately and efficiently execute POS and customer service standards per company guidelines to provide courteous, fast and efficient service.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merch disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service processes and Kohl’s brand standards.
