Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Team Member to support store operations during peak periods, assisting with merchandising, freight, front-end duties, and customer service.

The role spans sales floor, front end, stockroom, and receiving areas to maintain a clean, stocked environment and deliver a customer-focused shopping experience. Note: This is a seasonal/temporary position, with potential for applying to regular part-time or full-time roles as opportunities arise.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
• Strong verbal, written, and comprehension skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established standards and processes.
• Demonstrates integrity, reliability, and ethical behavior in all interactions with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive attitude, works with a sense of urgency, and executes assigned responsibilities according to policies and procedures.
• Contributes to a customer-focused environment while providing exceptional customer service.
• Works collaboratively with Team Members and leadership to achieve store goals and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Performs cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while delivering a positive shopping experience.
• Processes freight; sorts, stocks, and replenishes merchandise in designated areas per guidelines.
• Performs store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned, both inside and outside the building.
• Completes assigned tasks and workload requirements efficiently and within established timeframes.
• Supports customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, shrink reduction, safety, and loss prevention initiatives to help ensure the store operates effectively and profitably.
• Performs all other duties as assigned based on business needs.
